Learning and Language support
We offer support services for all students. Support for multilingual students is available in the classroom. We also provide in-class academic support as well as in-class speech and language support. Each program serves students with mild learning differences, with the goal of enabling every child in the program to thrive at Auburndale Elementary School.
Center for Teaching and Learning
The Auburndale Elementary School Teaching and Learning Center serves a dual purpose: providing guidance and support for students’ continuous learning, and collaborating with teaching teams and departments to fulfill the school’s mission. Auburndale Elementary School fosters dialogue around research that supports best practices in curriculum alignment, assessment, and instruction; teachers work together to share teaching strategies so that all students benefit from our collective experience.
Auburndale Elementary School is committed to achieving academic excellence, providing an international perspective and a comprehensive education, and preparing every student for the future. The school follows a standards-based Common Core instructional model for classroom teaching and student assessment, focusing on student mastery of concepts and skills.
